Feliciano Yusay Consing National High School (FYC-NHS) is one of the schools that cooperates with Capiz State University as a place for sea teacher participants to observe and practice teaching. FYC-NHS is a public secondary school located in President Roxas, Capiz, Philippines. The school offers education for junior high school students from Grade 7 to Grade 10.

The school is committed to providing quality education and holistic development for its students, preparing them for higher education and future careers. FYC-NHS actively engages in various educational programs and extracurricular activities to enhance student learning and personal growth.

FYC-NHS has many, different grade levels, different subjects, different class sections, different subjects, for their own section they have, 4 class sections namely STE (science, technology, and engineering), SPA (Special Program for Arts), SPJ (Special Program for Journalism) and regular and for the difference in the main subjects STE, SPA, and SPJ have main subjects such as STE is more about science, technology, and engineering, while SPA has dance classes, art classes, singing classes, theater, and more, and SPJ has Journalism classes, broadcasting classes, editors. And the regular classes are regular students who take regular subjects. 1.2 Academic support system

Feliciano Yusay Consing National High School has various academic support systems to help students, such as the Guidance Office for guidance and counseling, Clinic for health services, and School Disaster Risk Reduction for disaster preparedness. In addition, there is the Teen Center as a student support center and the School Supreme Learners' Government which encourages student leadership.

The school also offers special programs such as Science, Technology & Engineering, Special Program in Journalism, and Special Program in the Arts, which are designed to develop students' talents and interests in various fields.

1.3 Teaching system

Feliciano Yusay Consing National High School implements a student-centered learning system, where lessons are made interactive and engaging. The school uses face-to-face classes, allowing students and teachers to interact directly in the classroom. In addition, teachers integrate technology in teaching, such as using multimedia presentations, to make learning more effective and improve student understanding.

1.5 Measurement and evaluation system

Feliciano Yusay Consing National High School implements a comprehensive measurement and evaluation system to assess students' academic progress. Assessment is done through written exams, assignments, projects, as well as class participation. In addition, teachers also use performance-based assessments, such as presentations and group work, to measure deeper understanding of concepts. Feliciano Yusay Consing National High School implements a K-12 Curriculum,The K-12 curriculum in the Philippines is an education system that requires students to complete 13 years of education, consisting of Kindergarten, Elementary School (Grade 1-6), Junior High School (Grade 7-10), and Senior High School (Grade 11-12). The curriculum is based on national standards set by the Philippine Department of Education (DepEd) and is designed to provide a student-centered education with an interactive and skills-based learning approach., designed to equip students with relevant academic, technical and life skills. In addition to core subjects, the school also offers specialization subjects that include Journalism, Computer System Servicing, Sports, Dance, and Music. 

1.7 Teaching Plan (of  Chemistry Major)

The teaching plan for the science subject of Chemistry at Feliciano Yusay Consing National High School is designed to be relevant to students' daily lives. Learning focuses on the basic concepts of chemistry linked to real-life experiences, s the principles of science in the surrounding environment. Teachers also apply an interactive approach with simple experiments and group discussions to enhance students' understanding. With this method, students are expected to more easily connect theory with practice and understand the importance of chemistry in everyday life.
